Bowls Ireland Regional Academies Finals

The finals of the inaugural season for the Bowls Ireland Regional Academies came to Belmont today in glorious sunshine. It was great to see so many young bowlers out on the green representing their academies from all across Ireland.

After four sessions of pairs and triples, the Rushmere Copperheads came out as winners.

However, the real winner was the game of bowls. As the outdoor season comes to a close the academies move indoors. All three Indoor stadiums in NI will continue the excellent work so far within the three indoor stadiums. The academy is Dublin will also continue using the Winter League greens.

Congratulations and thanks to all those involved in the eight academies across the country.
